I am so excited for my ninth year of teaching! We are going to have the best year together.
My favorite thing in the world is teaching children. I learned how to be a teacher at Berry College, which in my opinion is the most beautiful college in the world. When I was at Berry, I ran cross county and track. I love all things art, reading murder mysteries, listening to Taylor Swift, eating, and spend time with those that I love. I believe that family is one the most important things. I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters. My parents live on a soy bean farm in Kentucky, I love to go visit. I love my family very much!
My husband, Blake, is a software developer down the street from New Prospect! We both love traveling, running, and spending time outdoors. We both completed the Richmond Marathon last November. We have also set goals to learn how to cook like an Italian Nonna. Our favorite team to cheer on together is Atlanta United. Being born and raised in the great state of Kentucky, I love the Wildcats too (unfortunately, Mr. Brashear cheers for the Tennessee Vols).
Mr. Brashear and I love our home here in Atlanta. We have a sweet and sometimes naughty cat named T'challa who is lovingly named after the Marvel super hero, Black Panther.
Now, enough about me, lets get this year started so I can get to know you! I can't wait to see all the ways you learn and grow this year. Amazon Wish List for Mrs. Brashear's Class
