We value your input as parents and want to consider the whole child when creating classes. If you want to provide feedback on the type of classroom environment you feel your child would do best in, feel free to fill out this optional survey from Mrs. Zarzour. She will be taking feedback until May 10th that she will consider as a part of our school process. This feedback is private and only necessary information is shared with us as teachers. https://forms.office.com/r/qLsXUL6CDX iReady Diagnostics Attached are the directions to acess your child's iReady scores!
SOCIAL STUDIES AND SCIENCE
We had a great time at spring showcase finishing out our HEAT unit with you! Now we will learn about the three branches of government at the national, state, and local level. READING, GRAMAMR, & PHONICS, & WRITING We spent our time reviewing test taking skills this week and now its time for studnets to show what they know (which is A LOT) on the GA milestones. We will pick back up with phonics once testing is complete. After Milestones students will take the Unit 6 reading test but it will count as a minor grade NOT a major grade. MATH Enhanced (on level)- This week we took our Unit 8 test, however, it will count as a minor grade, not a major as it is a short unit with only two standards assessed. We will spend the rest of the year reviewing test taking skills before milestones, and reveiwing skills that will be important leading into 4th grade next year. Accelerated- This week we took our test and will focus on test taking skills leading up to Milestones as well. After Milestones we will work ona project reveiwing what we've learned this year.
